In summer time Phony Bay is thermally stratified, using a vertical temperature variation of 5 to nine?C in between the hotter surface area h2o and cooler depths under 50 m, though in Winter season the h2o column is at nearly constant temperature in the least depths. The development of a thermocline is strongest about late December and peaks in lat
